Transportation: Transportation is the moral fibre of the supply chain. With approximately 80 to 85 percent share in the worth conditions at present, the proportion of transportation will always remain high in upcoming years. However, the lockdown has compulsory major boundaries; as a result Air ways, Rail Ways and Road ways are feeling the temperature in satisfying the demand supply. A large part of Indian retail industry is still dependent relative on the transportation through roads and therefore, regardless of the method and support from the government, the supply chain industry is sensation the strain.

Lack of Inventory: The unexpected spread of COVID-19 caught most retailers unprepared, not giving them enough time to reserve up on merchandise. With the lockdown in place, retailers are left with narrow stock of products, with a lot of inventory stuck in the state detailed or local warehouses. This in turn is flattering a challenge in supply chain management.
