- In sports the team that builds trust, transparency, continuous practice, innovative thinking achieves the goal. So likely the organisation has to build trust among the employees to win any challenges.
- Success in sports is celebrated by everyone even though one player has achieved the goal. The management lesson we can learn is congratulate the team during their wins and forgiving them during their loses.
- Every sports person comes across failure in his career but doesn’t make him stop playing. The lessons we can learn is that never give up during failures as failure is a stepping stone to success.
- The success of a team depends on the well-executed plan and strategy right from the starting of the game. The lesson we learn is that every organisation must plan a strategy communicate it and execute in a similar way.
- In sports your attitude is more important than your talent as a person with negative attitude makes him arrogant, lazy, over confident etc. However, a positive attitude sets you to the success path.
- There are no shortcuts to success either it may be a game or a business. There has to be a lot of hard work, effort, discipline to achieve the goal.
A strong commitment, continuous improvement, hard work, dedication are the common traits followed by world of sport. These are the few lessons that today’s corporate can learn from the world of sport.
