      Sankara Educational Institutions sponsored by the Coimbatore Educational and Cultural Foundation Trust was founded by ‘Kalvi Chemmal’ Sri T.K. Pattabhiraman in 1983. The Coimbatore Educational and Cultural Foundational Trust (CECFT ) has its primary objective as the promotion of higher education in Arts, Science and Commerce, Management and Technology; with this end in view, the following educational institutions were started in Saravanampatty, Coimbatore by the trust and are run successfully in the past three decades:
